The Air-Pak XD SCBA is built on the proven wireformed backframe platform, combining long-standing durability with updated technology focused on cleanability, comfort, and connectivity.
Its rugged wireformed backframe maintains a low-profile design engineered for improved usability, durability, and serviceability, while helping minimize snag points when you operate in tight spaces.
The configurable harness system allows you to choose padded or unpadded shoulder straps and waist pads, with parachute or spring clip buckle options—giving you flexibility to match your department’s operational preferences without compromising performance.
With removable harness components, advanced materials designed to reduce absorption of water and chemicals, and a pressure reducer cover that supports machine washing in automated SCBA washers, you can streamline cleaning and decontamination practices between calls.
The Naturally-Articulating waist pad promotes greater range of motion and transfers weight to your hips for a more balanced load. A proven regulator design helps reduce breathing resistance, supporting comfort during extended operations.
Redundant safety features, including a dual-redundant pressure reducer, are integrated to support reliable SCBA performance. When configured with SEMS 3.0, new electronics offer an ergonomic console design, extended range, and improved resistance to radio frequency (RF) interference.
Bluetooth® enabled electronics support wireless connectivity between devices for configuration and data transmission/retrieval, while Buddy Lights provide a 360° view of air pressure and PASS status to crew members around you.
