The Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA was created to help you spend less time dealing with gear limitations and more time focused on your task, with design choices aimed at cleaning/decon, wear comfort, and wireless connectivity.
Its aluminum alloy backframe is engineered to stay lightweight while holding up to day-to-day impacts and handling. The Snap-Change cylinder connection supports rapid cylinder replacement and can improve cylinder charging efficiencies—useful for busy stations managing multiple cylinders and turnarounds.
To support exposure-reduction practices, the removable harness is designed for cleaning and decontamination. Advanced harness materials are intended to reduce absorption of water and chemicals, helping you minimize contamination carryover across shifts.
For comfort and mobility, the Naturally-Articulating Waist Pad is designed to increase range of motion and transfer weight to your hips for a more balanced load—helping you stay mobile on stairs, ladders, and long advances.
Breathing performance is supported by the 3M™ Scott™ E-Z Flo C5 Regulator, designed to help reduce breathing burden and compatible with the Vision C5 facepiece. Redundant safety features, including a dual-redundant pressure reducer, add an additional layer of functional resilience built into the platform.
On the connectivity side, Bluetooth®-enabled electronics support wireless device connectivity for configuration and data transmission/retrieval. The ePAR (electronic personnel accountability report) enables wireless, bi-directional communication between you and incident command when used with Monitor Pro telemetry software, and Buddy Lights provide a 360° view of air pressure and PASS status for nearby crew members.
